Family Portrait Photography – The Pollard Family, Shugborough Hall

We have known Rob Pollard from design company The Media Revolution for a couple of years now. He decided to treat his father to a portrait voucher for Christmas, and we met with them all at the stunning Shugborough Hall in Staffordshire for a fun, informal family portrait session.

As you can see – the style of my portrait photography means I can get a lot more variety in the shots I take, and everyone involved is much more relaxed. Adults are fairly good at avoiding cameras unless they absolutely have to be in front of them, so it is great to be able to show them that it it doesn’t have to be a scary experience.

The grounds at Shugborough Hall are perfect for such sessions – great open spaces, and of course a gorgeous stately property as well. We were amazingly lucky with the weather so were able to take our time and enjoy the day.

If you like these, then you will also love some of the other family portrait sessions I have coming up and ready to blog. Pop back soon to take another look.

As a photographer, I genuinely enjoy the process of taking photos – the interaction, creativity and happy clients keep me enthusiastic and innovative. Many people find it awkward having their photograph taken – I use my experience to put people at ease so that I can get the most out of them, often in a short period of time.

Over the years I have been a professional photograph, I have won both regional and national awards, and I have been awarded an LMPA from the Master Photographers Association.
