To get the most natural photographs of your beloved pets, I take time to allow them to get used to me before I even take my camera out of it’s bag.
Sessions typically last 2-3 hours depending on how many animals there are, as well as how much fun your pet is having.
I usually start off in the house getting indoor shots first, before moving outside for environmental portraits. For cats this is most likely a garden area, and for dogs we tend to head out for a walk somewhere we can run around for some action shots. For horses I like to spend some time around your stables before going out for a ride somewhere.
The most important thing for me is that you and your pets enjoy themselves, so that I can get beautiful and natural photographs that you will love.
After The Session
We usually arrange viewings 2-3 weeks after the session, and take place at our offices in Fazeley Studios, in Digbeth, Birmingham. This gives us time to make sure all of the photos that you see are looking great, and it gives you a chance to think about how you would like to display the images.
You are welcome to bring your pet with you to the viewing (horses by prior arrangement only…), but we recommend that you do not bring children as they can get distracted
At the viewing we show your photos as a slideshow set to music, and then look at your options for displaying them. Our photographs are supplied looking beautiful in frames or albums. These include framed images, multi-framed photos, acrylic mounted prints and canvas wraps. Many people also have an album of photographs too.
