Gorgeous Guide Dogs

Here at James Crockford HQ we definitely don’t agree with the old saying “never work with children or animals” – in fact working with pets is fast becoming one of our favourite subjects to photograph.

So when we were asked by Worcestershire Life magazine to pop along to the guide dogs for the blind association . If you pick up a copy of Worcestershire Life this month you will see for yourself just how much fun these incredible dogs have whilst they are training to become the friend and support of one of the many blind and partially sighted people in the UK.Guide Dog Training School in Leamington Spa and snap these happy muts at work, we were thrilled!  It was an incredibly odd experience test-driving a dog – blindfolded and walking around a series of obstacles, just having to trust the dog not to let me fall down a hole.  I have such admiration for how they train those dogs (it is one thing training a dog to sit, and another to train it to stop you getting hit by a car when crossing a road…).

    Good Morning,

I am working to improve the search engine optimisation of the charity Guide Dogs and I spotted that you already have a link to them from the following page on your site. Thank you for linking to Guide Dogs, as it helps to raise awareness.

    http://www.jamescrockford.com/2011/05/15/gorgeous-guide-dogs

Would it be possible for you to change the link to the following?

the guide dogs for the blind association (linked to http://www.guidedogs.org.uk)

This will help Guide Dogs to improve its web presence, which is just a small step in helping the charity meet its goal to help blind and partially sighted people experience freedom and independence.

    About Guide Dogs

The charity Guide Dogs will not rest until blind and partially sighted people enjoy the same freedom of movement as everyone else.

Thank you in advance for your help and please let me know if you have any questions. If you could also let us know if you are able to make the change then that would be very helpful.

    Best Regards,

    Kasia
