We Heart Tim & Stacey

We all know from various statistics and research that adults work for more of their life than they spend doing anything else, so it’s so vitally important to love what you do. As photographers, we absolutely adore what we do; we meet amazing people; we get to attend a different wedding nearly every week and we create beautiful images that stay with our clients for years to come.

But what’s even nicer is when we hear back from our newly-weds to say how much THEY love what we do. Not one for beating our own drum very often, we simply couldn’t let this one pass…here’s what Tim and Stacey had to say…

“We were recommended to James Crockford Photography by another photographer. I feel being recommended by an industry peer is one of the highest form of recommendation anyone can receive; and without a doubt can say that we haven’t been disappointed.

I don’t think I need to attest to how good James Crockford Photography’s wedding photographs are as you can see this yourself but needless to say, we have been incredibly impressed by the overall processes and service which we received from them.

Before choosing our wedding photography company, we met with a number of different photographers – all of whom had impressive wedding portfolios however, from the outset James was friendly, attentive and most importantly to us, understood us and our requirements. Also, the quality of the end product was incredible and very beautiful – exactly what you want.

We first met James at our intended venue and from the outset it was clear they were bringing a wealth of experience which they used to gently and calmly (but surely) steer us through the minefield of what apparently is a stressful experience. Throughout the entire process however James and Kat alleviated all stress to us, by making what they needed and by when, as clear and simple as possible.

Once commissioned as our wedding photographers, we met with James Crockford Photography again to discuss in more detail their and our thoughts and also to have our dreaded pre-wedding photography shoot. I’m sure like many reading this that you looked forward to having your photograph taken again and again as much as we did! After a little searching, James found a local spot by the river for us to have some lovely shots taken which although a little out of the ordinary for us was an enjoyable experience all-round.

In the run-up to the wedding, knowing we would be busy sorting things out, James kept contact to a minimum – but kept us in the loop of anything we should be aware of which was great as it meant we didn’t need to worry.

On our wedding day, James arrived raring to go nice and early to get some shots of the bride and entourage getting ready which I’m glad he did as seeing the raucous that was the pre-wedding preparations makes me smile even now. Throughout the day James was able to control the crowds while remaining virtually invisible which I think is a real skill. He also stayed later than intended which was very appreciated as we now have many memories of a cracking party which we probably wouldn’t have had otherwise.

All in all, we are very pleased with the overall service and professionalism we received from James Crockford Photography and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. If you’re unsure about the quality of their work, I suggest you check out the photographs he took of our wedding as we feel he captured the even perfectly.

We now just have to finish whittling down over 400 brilliant photos to fit in the album!
