Brockhampton Wedding – Stacey & Tim

I am sat in my studio-office (also known as The Shed), looking back up the garden to our house, and all I can see is the rain pouring down.  It is days like this that this when it is really nice to be looking through the sunny summer weddings.  And they don’t get much more quintessentially English than Stacey and Tim‘s.

They got married in the beautiful church at Brockhampton – a thatched Arts and Crafts church (my mother was most excited when I told her where it was as she has visited it because it is unique), and after the ceremony they and their guests were transported to the nearby cricket ground by a horse drawn Weston’s Cider cart.  They had pimms while the cricket played in the background, before a picnic hamper for each table in the marquee.   It was a lovely afternoon, and to top it off Brockhampton won the game, also winning the league…

Some previews from the afternoon…

As a photographer, I genuinely enjoy the process of taking photos – the interaction, creativity and happy clients keep me enthusiastic and innovative. Many people find it awkward having their photograph taken – I use my experience to put people at ease so that I can get the most out of them, often in a short period of time.

Over the years I have been a professional photograph, I have won both regional and national awards, and I have been awarded an LMPA from the Master Photographers Association.
