Walton Hall Wedding – Aimi & Neil
Categories: wedding photography
Each wedding is memorable for a different reason, and there were several things that I will remember about Aimi and Neil’s lovely wedding at Walton Hall. Aimi and Neil have been together for 17 years, and have already have three lovely children, so their wedding was a real family affair, but with a definite party atmosphere.
So what made it memorable for me? First were the massive grins on the faces of the boys (and by boys I mean Neil, his best man, and his son) as they landed by helicopter in Barnt Green (the nearest point to the pub…) – a surprise flight arranged by Aimi (and although it sounds really showy, was actually discretely arranged and really personal between the two of them and witnessed by no one else really). Second were the speeches, particularly the ones by two of the children, which were beautifully written and delivered – you could definitely see how pleased they were to be such a big part of their parents wedding. And lastly it was memorable for love that Neil has for not only Aimi and his children, but also for his car – a particularly nice Bentley Continental, which went with him on one of his stag dos (it was the Canonball Run to be fair, so not as surprising as it may sound) but also had pride of place in the carpark all afternoon looking beautiful with a wedding ribbon.
Kat and I had a fantastic day photographing this wedding, and we hope that you like the preview photos.
