One of my regular clients, Catalyst Lend Lease have been involved in building schools and communities in New Town. They have been putting a huge amount of resources into the area – not only physical buildings, but helping support and develop the community as a whole. I have been covering various aspects of their projects, but particularly their Young Design Champions – a group from Holte School who are designing two sculptures, along side the school, LEP, City Council, and community groups.
I enjoy the variety that my work gives me – sometimes I am photographing a wedding in a country hotel, and other times I am in a vibrant classroom of kids moulding wax to make a sculpture and talking about design. And that variety is what makes me constantly looking for inspiration and new ideas – never stop learning, that’s what I say.
