Family Portraits in Lincoln

Last weekend we headed over the Lincoln to see Abbie and John, and to have a family portrait session with their two children, Annabel and William, plus John’s brother Mike, his wife Annabel and their beautiful 10 month old daughter, Katie.

I was hoping to be able to get out and about, but the weather closed it, it was cold and with a couple of non/recent walkers in the mix, it was best to stay around their house. It is always more of a challenge taking photographs indoors in the winter, but I am at my happiest working with natural light, so, as I warned John, decided to rearrange their entire house to make the most of the light. Their red leather chair worked really well in the photographs.

The shoot was arranged for John and Mike’s mother’s birthday later in the year, so hopefully she will love the photos.
