Riddleston Family Shoot
It is shoots like this that really remind me why I love portrait photography. A few days ago I headed over to Hanbury to meet Jo and Peter, and their two children Izzy and Poppy. I had met them at Hanbury Hall Fete and they love the hall, so it was the obvious choice of location for the shoot. The girls were absolutely lovely and we had great fun with bubbles and fairy wings, running around climbing trees and exploring new places. It was also great to get to know Jo and Peter who were about to celebrate their wedding anniversary so we took the chance to spend five minutes with just the two of them – Penny (a photographer who had come along with me to help) did a great job of keeping Izzy and Poppy occupied for a few moments, and we just about managed to get a bit of time and space together.
I had a lovely email from them after the shoot too telling me that Poppy was disappointed I couldn’t go with them to the park afterwards, which was so sweet – for me it is so important that everyone loves the whole experience. So here are previews of the shoot. Thanks for a fab afternoon.
