I realised the other day that I had been getting behind on my blog, and so the next few entries may not strictly follow the right sequence, but hey, never mind….
A couple of weekends ago I headed down to London for a couple of days, for a pre-wedding shoot with Nicole and Lee, who are getting married in August. I love doing pre-wedding shoots as they give me a great chance to get to know the couple – what they are like in front of the camera and also what there vision for their big day is, but it also gives them a chance to get used to how I work, and generally to have a bit of fun and relax with having their photos taken. Before a wedding many people haven’t had a professional photo taken since the rubbish school portraits in front of a grey mottled background (….shivers down my spine…..).
Any how, I had great fun with Nicole and Lee, and I am so looking forward to their wedding day – they have got a fantastic venue, and they are planning a really chilled and relaxed vibe, so plenty of opportunities for great wedding photographs.
For their pre-wedding shoot however, I met them at their place in London and headed to a park area in Wimbledon, timing it perfectly before the rain headed in at the end of the shoot…. just.
A great fun shoot, and I am now really looking forward to the wedding next month.
Some of the shots from the shoot….
