Having finished the Sense Ball at about 11pm, we headed home, said thanks to our friend Cressida for baby sitting, packed the car, and headed up to Blair Atholl for Pip and Billy’s wedding weekend. We decided that driving through the night was the best option – I was surprisingly awake throughout the journey – I would have stopped the minute I felt tired – and pushed on through. Kat was too tired to drive really (her pregnancy is really progressing now, so it was best for her to rest as much as possible) and Josh was able to sleep most of the way too.
We arrived in time for breakfast, and after a few hours kip, I met up with Pip and Billy to talk through the details of their wedding the following day. As it was such a distance, and because of various delays with our own trips to Scotland, we had not been able to have a pre-wedding shoot, so we spend only about 15 mins on a rough scrap of ground next to Blair Atholl station just to get into the swing of it all.
Despite the lack of time, it was great to spend some time with them just so they felt comfortable in front of the camera together, and understood what I was doing.
Here are a couple of the images from the shoot.
