REC Agency Summit
Last week I was asked down to Canary Wharf to cover the REC’s third Agency Summit. I was at last years event, so it was good to see how it had developed in it’s third incarnation. I headed down from Birmingham to photograph the whole day, from registration right up to the drinks in the evening.
It was held at the East Wintergarden at Canary Wharf, which is a great venue – loads of natural light, and airy surroundings, which is obviously better for me than some badly lit basement room, but it is also better for the attendees – I am sure everyone is more attentive and awake when they are have some light and space around them.
An important part of the day is getting the views of members, so this year they experimented with electronic voting, which all went well (some good techies obviously), which is always good to give the audience instant feedback on member’s views. My aim for the afternoon was to get across the idea that it was a participatory event in the photos, and I was really happy to know they were pleased with them.
A very well organised event (well done Karen & team…!)
Some photos….
