Yesterday, I braved the crowds and arranged to meet a group of mums (and dads) at the Botanical Gardens for my inaugural ‘Portraits in the Park’. The idea is to get a group of friends together for a picnic with their children, to have fun in the sun, and to get some fantastic portraits of the kids at the same time.
This was the first time I had tried out my idea, and I was really excited to see how it went, and I have been really pleased. Everyone had fun, I was able to work out how long I needed to spend with each child, and I was also able to think about some of the dull technical stuff, like which lens to use! It is amazing what keeps me happy…
Anyone interested in getting a group of friends together for one of these sessions, please just drop me a line and I can chat through how it works.
