Julie and Shail – Pre-wedding shoot @ Coombe Abbey

Time has run away from me, and I have realised that I have not blogged for a while – it is not that I don’t love you,  it is just that I have been busy….

Anyway, last weekend I headed over to Coombe Abbey, near Coventry, to meet up with Julie and Shail who are getting married there later this year, to talk through their day, and to spend some time on a pre-wedding shoot.  PWS’s are so important in my mind – most people don’t naturally feel comfortable in front of a camera, and spending some time together allows me to find out what the bride and groom are like when faced with a camera (and it is never as scary as people think), but also for them to have some fun and get some great shots of the two of them before the big day.

Julie and Shail are planning a two part wedding – the civil ceremony at Coombe Abbey, and then moving on elsewhere for their Indian ceremony, so it is going to be a fantastic day with plenty of opportunities for some fantastic shots.

Here is a preview of some of the images from the pre-wedding shoot…

As a photographer, I genuinely enjoy the process of taking photos – the interaction, creativity and happy clients keep me enthusiastic and innovative. Many people find it awkward having their photograph taken – I use my experience to put people at ease so that I can get the most out of them, often in a short period of time.

Over the years I have been a professional photograph, I have won both regional and national awards, and I have been awarded an LMPA from the Master Photographers Association.
