Wow – what a great day, and a great trip to Scotland. The wedding was a the Houstoun House Hotel, and was a fantastic day for Suzie, Dom and all the guests.
Suzie looked fab in a lovely dress, and once Dom had figured out how to put on a kilt, he looked the part too. I think Dom walked out of his house in the clothes he stood up in when he left for the hotel – he seemed to have forgotten most things, but luckily was well looked after by a great Best Man, and Groomsmen. They even managed to get him to the ceremony without going via the bar.
The ceremony was lovely – they were piped in by a family friend, and the minister was another family friend, so all very personal to them. Scotland provided a nice bit of rain just as Suzie was going the short distance from her room to the ceremony, but brightened up well for the afternoon so we were able to get outside for photos etc.
